La storica Villa Paterno, prima appartenente alla famiglia Machiavelli, e le case coloniche della proprietà sono state ristrutturate con grande cura considerando le loro origini.

Le stanze fresche e spaziose con pavimenti in terracotta soffitti a travi sono tipiche delle case coloniche toscane e sono particolarmente adatte all’agriturismo.

La ristrutturazione delle case fu condotta dal proprietario, l'architetto Gelpke stesso, il quale tentò di modificarle il meno possibile integrando alcune comodità moderne.

The historic Villa Paterno, acquired from the Machiavelli family, together with the farm houses on the property, have been restored with great care to their original form.

The spacious, cool, whitewashed rooms, beamed ceilings and terracotta floors are typical of Tuscan farm houses and are particularly suited to holiday rentals.

The restoration of the buildings was undertaken by the owner, the architect Wendelin Gelpke himself, who tried to change as little as possible in the layout of the structures and to integrate modern facilities unobtrusively.

Die historische Villa Paterno und die Bauernhäuser der Farm wurden von der Machiavelli Familie erworben und mit groβer Sorgfalt restauriert und in ihren Originalzustand zurückversetzt.

Die typisch toskanischen Bauernhäuser sind geräumig, und kühl, haben Holzdecken und Terrakottafuβböden. Sie eignen sich insbesondere zur Vermietung an Urlauber.

Der Architekt Wendelin Gelpke selbst führte die Renovierung der Häuser durch. Er versuchte so wenig wie möglich in der Struktur der Häuser zu ändern. Technische Erneuerungen wurden dezent durchgeführt.
